Plan clean wireless frequencies.
Add your mics and in-ears, pick where the show is, and the calculator finds frequencies that stay clear of local TV, restricted bands, scan peaks and each other's intermods. Lock what's already set, check power and range, then download a PDF report, an Excel workbook or a frequency list.
Wireless channels
Add equipment, then calculate. Locked channels never move, so lock anything already set on stage or belonging to someone else.
No channels yet. Pick some equipment above and press Add, or load the example show.
Coordination check
Checks how many more channels of this type would fit around the current plan without moving anything.
Spectrum view
Drag across the chart to zoom in, double-click to zoom out. Hover for details.
Intermod check
The closest intermod product to every channel, and which carriers make it. Anything inside the guard is flagged.
Local TV and free channels
Australian 7 MHz TV channels. Click a channel to cycle: automatic from the transmitters you picked, forced in use, forced clear.
Power, EIRP and range
A link budget for one transmitter and receive antenna system. Use it to choose RF power, antennas and cable, and to check you stay inside the 100 mW EIRP class licence limit.
Report and files
Coordination report
A4 PDF: frequency list for the crew, spectrum views, TV channels, intermod check, power and range, and the settings used.
Spreadsheets and lists
Excel workbook with every sheet, a frequency list CSV to import into your coordination software or console, and an exclusion list CSV (TV, restricted and scan peaks).
Project file
Save the whole plan, scan included, to reopen later or send to another tech. The plan also saves in this browser automatically.
A planning aid only. Spacing and intermod guards are starting points, TV data covers main transmitters, and equipment bands and power settings are typical values. Always confirm against the ACMA Channel Finder, the manufacturer's data and a scan at the venue, and walk-test every channel before the show.
